Asking and receiving Mercy comes with a requirement.
To see the need of mercy, and to find it like a deer that pants for water, is to taste of the Lord and to drink of His goodness. In and through this we then more fully comprehend the meaning of Love.
“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” “The one who showed him” mercy, replied the expert in the law. Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” Luke 10:36, 37
For Love is the very Nature of God, His desire is for each of us to become channels, expressions of His very Nature. This is what the entire creation is awaiting.
For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
