Sought and Found
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30
The prophetic Word spoken by Ezekiel was, is and shall be found and fulfilled in Christ, the son man, and the Son of God. The ‘man’ that God is looking for is the many membered body of Christ.
Today the Man, is Christ in His disciples. His expression is found in those who live in and under His Lordship. Through Him the fulfillment of this verse is being carried out today, ones who in His grace are standing in the gap.
If we don’t speak the Living Word into this earth then the above verse is true.
Today as we hear His voice, we must proclaim the Kingdom within and outside of us, doing so through the zeal of our Lord, and the host of those who have gone before us.
“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.” Ezekiel 3:17
There is a Trumpet sounding forth today, it is found in those who express the Living Word, not from their flesh, but in and through the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
This Word is expressed to purge and to tear down, and to plant and to build (Jeremiah 1:10).
His Word is going forth today, to bring about His will. For His people to be the Israel He has always wanted. Today His voice is crying out in the wilderness, we must have our ears tuned to hear His voice, and hearts that willing to be His channels, expressing His Word in Spirit and Truth.
Today if we hear His voice, He is clearly saying:
“My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.” Jeremiah 51:45
The ‘her’ mentioned in the above text is the chaos and confusion of mans religious systems, and to come out of ‘her’. We are to worship our Lord in Spirit and Truth.
The call of our fathers, is our call today:
“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”
Matthew 3:2, 3
True repentance is seeing our nature is opposed to our Lord, and the vast need we each have for His nature to replace our corrupt nature. His divine nature becoming our very life, this is indeed the Goods News. From this we submit to our Lord, and enter His Kingdom.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
For whether we be beside ourselves, to God: or whether we be sober, for your cause.
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we no more.
Therefore if any man in Christ, a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech by us: we pray in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:10~21
In His grace, we become a new creation, here now, today. This does not happen unless we are determined to see it happen. Yes its all in His grace, yet grace requires our action.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
I Corinthians 15:10
Our Lord is seeking those who will pursue Him, and to become His Body in Spirit and Truth.
