The woman of the night, and her Light
In her weeping she was seeking the one who had touched her unlike any other, He had touched her heart. It was His words,His presence His way, they were of Life.
Yet her heart was torn on that eventful morn, alone she walked to where He had laid.
The tomb was open and empty, death had died, Life arrived.
She heard a voice and turned, at first glance she did not see it was He. When He spoke she awoke, Master, Teacher burst from her heart. Her Love now lives.
His response was simple and so profound, “go and tell…”
It was a forgiven woman of the night, that first saw the Risen Light.
“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
Her voice resonates today in those like her, that walk from night into His Light.
