The Works of Faith

22 Mar

Abraham’s name is righty regarded in scripture as the father of those who walk by Faith.

Faith is what led Abraham on his walk from the known into the unknown, from the traditions of his fathers into a fully alive relationship with God. In this Abraham was blessed with direct communication with God, this was all by Faith and was all a part of Abraham’s Purification through the fiery tests he was subjected to.

The long awaited promise from God arrived in Issac this was after Abram had learned a lesson not to take things into his own hands by reasoning with his mind how this promise was to come true.

Abraham’s Faith was tested over and over and he saw what is impossible for man’s to see apart from Faith, a city who’s Author and foundation is God.

The walk of Abraham is one for us all to glean from for it’s only by Faith activated by God’s voice that Faith is alive within one.

By Faith Abraham became obedient to God’s voice and moved accordingly. By Faith offered what was promised as his heritage upon the altar, all in obedience to God’s voice. For by Faith Abraham knew to trust God fully, completely and not to trust his reasoning, but by Faith to Trust God!

It was by Faith Abraham learned obedience by the things he suffered all for one true outcome, to know God as God knew him.

This is the only purpose of Faith, to know God, and Living Faith can only come to one as God speaks into ones life.

When this one to One relationship is started ones sole purpose is to walk by Faith into the Fire of God’s righteous judgement and like Abraham for the purpose of knowing God.

Like Abraham one walks by Faith and learns obedience by suffering, suffering that is established in Faith, suffering as one is separated from the false in order to be established in Truth.

Faith indeed has works, and these works are first and foremost by the very hands of God bringing death to our reasoning and Life in His Word. All so that His Kingdom is brought forth in one as ones True Identity.

The Son of Man states;

“And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?

“I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” ~ Luke 18:6~8
