Bondage and Freedom
Born of a woman we are under influences that have dominion over us, spirits that desire expression, a host to move in and through. We walk through this life blind to their influence, often mistakenly assuming these influences are our nature.
No one is exempt from this it’s all by design to teach an eternal truth, man apart from Gods benevolent rule, Kingdom and Nature is hell bent to greed, pride, lust and destruction.
Mankinds liberator came to this earth clothed in flesh yet born of God, all for the purpose to set all of mankind free from the bondage of darkness and transformed mans heart in Spirit and Truth.
His mission statement is expressed in the poetic language of a prophet of old.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.” Isaiah 61
This proclamation is a Living Word expressed from the very mouth of God, and it’s just as alive and true today as it was then, even if you will more true more vibrant today.
This Loving Servant King came to this earth to set the captives free, free from the bondage of decay, death, disease and to transfer His Devine Light, Life and Love into the hearts of mankind, all in and through His Spirit, thus creating a new man one in the likeness and image of God.
This transformation is all possible through our simplicity of heart to our Savior King, our submission unto His perfect will, and allowing Him by His Spirit to bring death to our will in order to be embodied with His Nature.
This is truly mankinds future, it’s here today and underway expressed within jars of clay that carry His Love.
May we each learn to be still in order to hear His ever present voice beckoning us to come to Him, casting our burdens, anxieties and fears to Him as an offering and in return He bestows in us a new heart, one that beats in sync with the very heart of our Benevolent Father.
