Settling the Dust

Dust and Living Water

Pondering my experience this morning and looking back over so many things that at one time consumed my time, and see them as dust…the earths atmosphere is filled with dust particles, we’ve all seen this from time to time, sunlight filtering in through a window and we see the tiny particles floating in the air. Dust is everywhere, dust in the wind, dust wherever one goes…dust is such an adequate label for mans existence.

Water settles the dust

As one begins to awaken unto Life we find that Living Water is exactly what it says it is, Water that quenches our thirst and Water that settles the dust in our hearts.

As Living Water is experienced one finds they desire an ever increasing amount in their daily intake, Water becomes a source of Life and living. This Living Water cleanses one from the inside washing away the impurities that have polluted our hearts and revealing what was always there hidden under the dust…True Treasure, Christ in us and our hope of Glory.

Jesus stated, if any man thirst let him come to him, for he is the source of Living Water.

As the commercial states;

“Stay thirsty my friends”

The Lie Must Die…

The Lie Can’t Stand…

We each carry to some degree a pack of lies, and circumstances can bring a lie to the surface, this has a Divine purpose…to expose the lie for exactly what it is…a vain thought without foundation.

No lie can stand in the Light of Truth, so whenever our however a lie is brought to the surface…it’s done so in order for the lie to die…and for Light to fill the void.

This is all a matter of Faith having become active within our hearts.

Eventually as Faith has its Way within us we will resonate with the Word of Jesus. Remembering “as He was, we are in the world”

“For the prince of this world cometh, and in me he hath not any thing.”

Living Faith

Living by Faith

“By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.”

Our going out to a place to receive for an inheritance is of course God, we sojourn into the unseen world of His nature exploring by Faith His very heart.

In this we are established by what we see with the single eye of Faith and what we touch with our hands of Faith. Here we see as we are seen, and know as we are known.

From this we forsake this earthly realm for our citizenship in our Fathers heart. In this we become strangers in this strange earthly realm, fixing the eye of Faith upon Christ and His resurrection.

Faith when mature creates the transition from the physical body into our Heavenly body, from our earthly nature into our Heavenly nature.

In this like the prodigal we return home, with this experience permanently inscribed in our hearts…the beauty and warmth of our Fathers heart.

And to never take it for granted, but to esteem His Love above all else, for it is the essence of Life.

Rest In Peace

For one to Rest In Peace one must first seek rest, resting from ones mental gymnastics, self willed pursuits and the diabolical ways of this age.

Entering His rest we begin to awaken and embrace a nature that is the Heavens, a nature that unfolds like a leaf on a tree, slowly yet purposefully.

Embracing this process one finds that slowly the former ways are being exposed for their folly and a new Way is becoming very attractive and meaningful, and where there was once anxiety, contention and anger there’s a letting go of these bitter experiences and expressions for Peace.

Resting in Peace is embracing the eternal Sovereignty of our Fathers heart and finding that the phrase “Peace on earth Good Will towards men” is far more than a seasonal term, it’s the Way of Life, Life in abundance.

Our Walk Home

Be strong and of Good courage

To become strong in Faith one must hear the voice of the Lord of Life and walk as He leads one through all the shadows into the Light of His Day.

Faith allows for the grace to bring our thoughts into captivity, by placing our true enemies (vain imaginations) under our feet.

They may have bruised our heel, yet by grace we crush them under our feet.

All of this is the walk of a true Hebrew following in the footsteps of our Lord.

The Truth and Nothing but the Truth

The great difference

There’s no possible way to compare the difference between mans perspective of God, and Gods perspective of man, for the latter is true while the former is flawed.

It’s by Faith we embrace the Truth, and by Truth we embrace deeper Faith to the point where we dwell upon that which is noble, praiseworthy, pure and real, Gods perspective of man.

Resting Trust

Letting go…to know

The mind is actively involved in qualifying, quantifying, identifying, for the purpose of soothing the lack that never leaves the mind.

The contemplative heart rests in the embrace of unlearning and unknowing with the trust in God to establish ones heart in Spirit and Truth, in order to know as one is known.
