One Way…

Only One Way

The religious mind can never enter into the intimacy that our Lord desires, for the religious mind is focused upon what one can do or not do to establish the relationship. When it’s His will start to finish, and it’s our awakening unto the beauty and intrigue of Love that swoons our hearts, melting our thoughts for the embracing of His Word, will and Way.

On our own we could never envision the depths of His Love, His Faithfulness and the beauty of His will, what is unfolding before our very hearts is beyond our most vivid imaginations.

“Only Christ can take us beyond the borders of human and religious thought, taking us to the realm of the Spirit where there are no borders.

Only Christ can transform us into what we yearn to be. Only Christ can lead us back to our…Paradise of an endless life.” Carl R. Schwing

And today….”we’ve only just begun” to scratch the surface…

Remembering Home…

The prodigal son awakens to his condition and remembers his fathers home, and this memory sustained him on his sojourn home.

Upon returning his heart was overwhelmed in the way he was received by his father.

There are many aspects of the Luke 15 story that are remarkable, what is meeting my heart this morning is his remembrance of home, and his desire to return to his father.

I see passion, brokenness, and humility in the son. And I see mercy, grace and love in the father.

Love conquers all that is apart from Love

“But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!” Revelation 2:4 NLT

Returning Home is remembering the Love we knew before time…

Joy for the Journey

We cannot rejoice unless we truly appreciate His Way. Yes there will tests, trials and adversity, yet in each day His grace is sufficient

We must see through the eyes of Faith our Fathers will and what He is expressing to our hearts.

And from this we can count all tests, trials and adversity as Joy. For we know the outcome.

“Only goodness and faithful Love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” ~ Psalm 23:6

Strength for the Sojourn

In our return home there will be thieves and thugs that will strive to divert our sojourn. This can leave us battered and beaten. Unable to move on, and truly in need of healing.

Yet the The Good Samaritan is Faithful and True to come to our aid. Carrying us in His arms, ministering the Oil of His grace, and nourishment to our souls.

All with the encouragement to walk on Home, our Father is anxiously awaiting our return.
This is Love.

What the World Needs Now…

The whole creation is eagerly awaiting His sons to come forward in His Nature.

This is the only item in this world that is sorely lacking, is the Nature of our Father.
Man can never muster the qualities needed, regardless of his desire, man is incapable, woefully unqualified.
Today we walk on the cusp of the biggest breakthrough in the history of man. It is close, and each day we press into Him, eating and drinking of His flesh and blood, experiencing the transference of His Love.
It is our Fathers great desire to give us His Kingdom, yet we must desire this above all else. We must in His grace have are hearts set upon His will, to become exactly what He has planned for us to become, Holy. This is only possible in and through the Life of Christ coming forth in our lives. He has set the table before us, we must reach out to partake of His Feast.

Our brother Paul’s prayer is clearly our need.

“the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.” Ephesians 1:18~22

We must have our hearts open unto our Lord, seeking Him and His righteousness to over take our mixture. The Day has come that the mixture is no longer enough. He is seeking hearts that are given unto Him, that He might inhabit. This is exactly what the prophet Jeremiah saw as vital.

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
Jeremiah 57:15

Today we are being called out of this age, and our corrupt nature, and called into out Lords very heart. To walk into His Spirit and to partake of His very Nature, and then to express this as He leads.

What does the world need now more than ever? His Nature, Love. Of all there is, none is greater than Love. For Love is God, and God is Love.

May we have ears to hear what the Spirit is expressing to the Body of Christ.

Have Nothing to do with the Unclean…

Life is all about our choices

One cannot serve two kings, or two kingdoms. We cannot live a dual citizenship.

When we look at the Greek term that is translated church it is Ekklesia “called out”. We are called out of the low earthly realm, and into His Kingdom. This calling out is to see Life from a whole new perspective, our Lords, which is all possible as we enter into Him, walking in His Faith.

Today we see the great mixture,  His people that carry His Name. Yet like Israel of old, they are trapped in bondage to a spiritual Pharaoh, and his realm of authority, abuse, tyranny, and evil.
There is a way to be set free from this bondage, and it requires of us to seek our Lord with our whole hearts. This requires of us to be open to hear His Living Word.
Today if we hear His voice, it is quite clear.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities” Revelation 18:4, 5

We must have our hearts open in submission unto our Lord, seeking Him and His perfect Kingdom with intensity and zeal. To know and and to be known in Him.

His Love is stronger than death, His jealousy for us is white hot, and His complete ransom for us is without question.

Today we must see His crystal clear calling, and like Abram follow our Lords desire.

“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” Genesis 12:1

Abram left Ur, his homelands, and sojourned to see and know His Lord. His walk is one for each of us to learn from, for Abram walked by Faith, the Faith of Christ. The symbolic language of leaving Ur, is indicating we must leave the ways of our fallen nature, and the ways of this world. We must see that our Lord came to express a new way of Life, and didn’t come to make this worlds system better. His Kingdom is not of ways of man, never was, and never will be. We must allow Him to wash the mud out of our eyes, to see the difference.

The Jews of old made this mistake, thinking our Lord came to set things right with the Roman tyranny and to set up a earthly kingdom. This of course was false then, and it is false today.

Paul’d admonition is one for us to adhere to;

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5:10, 11

The ways of this age, and mankind’s nature are unclean in our Lords eyes. He is calling us out of this way of existence, and into Him, and His Kingdom.

“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord.” Ephesians 5:14~16

The two are separate we must choose one or the other. Our default position is outside of His Kingdom, this requires us to be like Abram and to move, to sojourn seeking our true homeland.

Our Lords ever beckoning call to “come to Me” or to “come up here” is our calling out of our nature, ways and living, and to enter in His grace and truth, a new way of living, this is found in and through His very Life.

To follow our Lord in His calling, is to become the people He so deeply desires us to be, His in Spirit and Truth.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”
Proverbs 3:5~8

Our True Home

Our True Home

Acceptance, community, and oneness are qualities on varying degrees that we all seek, and to some measure find. In our heart of hearts we have a longing for unity, of seeing and being seen for who we are, as well as seeing others for whom they are.

Man has and is attempting to make this happen by many different avenues, and in some way finds a degree of success, yet there is more, much more than he can ever imagine.

The Lord near the end of His time on earth foretold of this oneness, and His prayer for this is of course our Fathers heart. The beauty of this prayer is that it was, it is and it shall be accomplished. For this prayer was in Spirit and Truth. Nothing will prevent this from being and becoming true, and our reality.

The key to this unity is Spirit and Truth, for in the Spirit we find Truth, and from this being exercised within us Truth becomes our quest in life, and we find this in and through of Lord. His deepest desire is to bring us into the oneness that He and our Father share; this is expressed in various terms such as The Kingdom of Heaven, New Jerusalem, or Zion. We enter this realm not by our will, or might, but by being born from above. This is the work of our Lord to lift up our spirit, to deeply and truly lead us into Truth, and form this to find the beauty of True Love.

John 17:16  (16-23)
Of the world they are not, even as I am not of the world. Consecrate them in the sphere of the truth. The word which is yours is truth. Even as me you sent off on a mission into the world, so I sent off them on a mission into the world. And on behalf of them I am setting myself apart, in order that they themselves also, having been set apart for God in the sphere of the truth, may continually be in that state of consecration. But not concerning these only am I making request, but also concerning those who believe on me through their word, in order that all might be one, even as you, Father, are in me and I in you, in order that they themselves also might be in us, to the end that the world may be believing that you sent me on a mission. And as for myself, the glory which you have given me, I have given them, in order that they might be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, in order that they, having been brought to the state of completeness with respect to oneness, may persist in that state of completeness, to the end that the world might be understanding that you sent me on a mission and that you loved them even as you loved me.

David saw this, and rejoiced before the Lord, this too is our joy.
Psalm 133

1  A Song of Ascents, of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

2  It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes.

3  It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing–life forever.

Zion is the heart of our Fathers perfect will, and today we can live and move, find our being in Zion. We see and are seen, Love and be Loved in Spirit and Truth. It’s here and now, and forever our home, our refuge, our identity. The beauty of Zion is beyond words, yet is expressed in the Living Word.

Yes it’s Zion that we enter His gates with deep thanksgiving, and rejoice in all that is set before us.

“They shall not hurt nor destroy

In all My holy mountain;

For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD,

As the waters cover the sea.

And it shall come to pass in that day,

That the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples,

Unto him shall the nations seek;

And his resting-place shall be glorious.”
Isaiah 11:9,10
