To Be or not To Be?

Be

To be still is to let go, letting go of our thoughts for Gods thoughts, this is an heart experience, expression and encounter, and not of the mind.

If we are honest we all strive “to be” yet our striving will never enter this state of “be” all because we (you & I) are trying, when it all flows from God.

To “be” is to not to be striving to “be”, it is entering Gods rest, and from that we begin to embrace the gift and art form of”be”.

Something that  We always Knew…

The Return

The sojourn is a pathway of wonder, deep intrigue and the opening of our hearts that in some way…we always knew to be true.

Like the prodigal there came a day to do an about face and turn towards home.

All Creation Speaks

Beauty
Beauty cannot be denied, for she speaks constantly the unspoken yet ever present voice of Love.

Her Voice….

Silent No Longer

The sad history of mankind’s fumbling in the darkness there has been a theme that is orchestrated, that has its source from the father of all lies, and it’s that women are to be ruled over, used, and squelched.

Enter Jesus Christ, His interaction with women and His blatant disregard for tradition sets the table for true change, an inward transformation, an awakening to the beauty and significance to life…all life.

The slander and squelching of the woman’s voice is not longer tolerated in the New Covenant, for Christ is ‘in’ all, and to mute the female side is to cut one of your hands off, to go deaf in one ear, or to walk on one leg. We are designed to function within His Body as one, and in this we find His expression flowing from all, young and old, rich and poor, male and female. Most often, and I cannot explain this but I find it true, it is the female expression of Christ that enriches, encourages, and enlightens us all.

In this, take heart my sisters for His expression ‘in’ and from you is beautiful, and is deeply needed!

When Two Became One…

John & Mary

As he walked the earth his expression, presence and the look in his eyes conveyed something very beautiful and very deep, and his words expressed a mystical language that spoke of wisdom and humility. This man was far more than a man and during his ministry there were many who followed yet there were two that saw.

The fisherman had an awakening an awareness that the one who called him to follow moved his heart, in this they became very close. The fisherman was gifted with a desire to be responsive to his teacher, they often reclined against each other, the fisherman listened to the beating heart and this man who was and is the Living Word, this Word touched John in a way that his life was transformed in Spirit and Truth.

Mary was a woman who had a deep thirst and hunger for connection, her life was formed by this desire and it had led her on a path where she sought this connection yet was lacking. She crossed paths with the man who saw her hunger and knew exactly what to say to her, in this she was deeply smitten by his expression for it carried Love. She became very close to her teacher and a beautiful example of what a students response is to the one who is Life. It’s no coincidence that on that most remarkable morning it was Mary that first saw her risen King, and her dear friend.

These two examples are for us to see, to understand this is his desire for us, to be open, humbled, submissive unto His perfect Love, for in this we too will find all that we hunger and thirst for…a Love that never fails, a Love that always increases, a Love that transforms our hearts into His Heart, a Love that is filled abundantly with Life the very Life of God.

True Adventure

Adventure

The emphasis this morning is how desirous our Lord is for us to explore, investigative, and come to know Him.

This sojourn into His Heart and Mind is the single most important aspect of our lives.

We cannot allow ourselves to become stagnant, earthbound, land locked or shackled by the traditions of man.

In Spirit and Truth we must be “anchors aweigh” with our sails set to catch His prevailing wind, knowing that the sojourn is filled with uncharted waters, treasure to behold and life enhancing lessons to walk in, all in the beauty of knowing Him and the power of His resurrection!

Cast the mooring lines and “anchors aweigh” my friend.

I’m looking forward to meeting you on some distance isle and swapping stories with you.

Atonement

Atonement…at One in Him

This evening at sunset marks a High Day in the old covenant, and shadows the workmanship of His hands within His students, disciples and fellow sojourners in Spirit and Truth.

Atonement depicts our Lords heart for us to be reconciled unto and into Him, and He alone can accomplish this mystical and magnificent transition, one of His Life coming forth in our earthly vessels.

The physical nature of this Day was expressed in fasting, the denial of self, this display is a shadow of the inward work of His hands, the overwhelming presence of His Love creating within us a new Nature, His.

Blessings to the sojourners who are supple in His hands like moist clay on the Potters wheel, spinning us into a vessel of honor, and this honor is to carry His Nature, and to extol His Name with every ounce and fiber of our being.

Blessings
