Death into Life

As He was, we are…

As in Adam all must die, this death is all for the purpose of awakening unto Life, in this death we in symbolic language carry our cross through the streets of our reality while we are mocked at what seems foolish to darkness. Eventually we come to the place of our crucifixion our inward Golgotha, the crucified mind, and the death to our will.

From this we find 3 symbolic Days of Life speaking inwardly to our souls and the ministry of reconciliation begins the transformation from darkness into Light.

We awaken a new creation, for in Christ all shall live.

Single Eye

There’s no true loss in the process of no longer I, for what must die is the double eyed perspective.

We must have our illusion and confusion seen for what it is in the Light of Love.

For Love alone casts out that which isn’t true in order to establish the True You in Christ.

Forgiveness and Love

As we awaken unto our true nature we begin to embrace the depths of our Fathers mercy and in this we find forgiveness is a constant expression of His Heart.

From this merciful compassion we begin to embrace the simplicity and enormity of His Love. In this we awaken and embrace His Nature which is expressed in the Fruit of His Spirit.

Here we begin to see and relate to His Mind and this most remarkable and beautiful Mind is expressed in our Lord Christ Jesus.

Jesus was a true brother to mankind and His walk on earth expresses a pattern for each of us. He is far more than a pattern He is the Way in which we see Truth and find our Life.

In this walk we learn to embrace our forgiveness and to be forgiving of others…everyone…all…for this is His expression and pattern to embrace. Remembering His words as He was beaten, ridiculed and hung on a tree.

“Father forgive them…they don’t have a clue what they are doing.”

Atonement…at One in Him

This evening at sunset marks a High Day in the old covenant, and shadows the workmanship of His hands within His students, disciples and fellow sojourners in Spirit and Truth.

Atonement depicts our Lords heart for us to be reconciled unto and into Him, and He alone can accomplish this mystical and magnificent transition, one of His Life coming forth in our earthly vessels.

The physical nature of this Day was expressed in fasting, the denial of self, this display is a shadow of the inward work of His hands, the overwhelming presence of His Love creating within us a new Nature, His.

Blessings to the sojourners who are supple in His hands like moist clay on the Potters wheel, spinning us into a vessel of honor, and this honor is to carry His Nature, and to extol His Name with every ounce and fiber of our being.

Moving into Life

There is a Way

Crossing Over is essential in our walk into our Lord, just as the nation of Israel moved into the land of Canaan, we today must cross over into a new world, one higher than we see with our natural eyes, one that we can only see through His eyes, the eyes of Faith.

The crossing of Jordan was symbolic for us to learn from. Our Lord led them out of their known world Egypt, through the wilderness. Teaching them He was, and is faithful in His provision. The crossing of Jordan moved them into a new realm, a land flowing with milk and honey, but they had to walk it out, walking in and through His Faith. The land also had foul spirits in it, and they, the Israelite’s were no match for the spiritual warfare they were to engage in.
He brought them into a land that was theirs by promise, but they were required to walk in Faith to obtain it. Jordan was a line of demarcation, moving from the wilderness into the land of promise, which symbolized Christ.

In Him, and He in us we find that He is the Way, the Way into Truth, Truth being another Word for reality, and in this reality we find the realm of Spirit which is another Word for Life. So by and in His Faith, we walk in the Way, abiding in His Truth, and seeing His Life becoming our life. This is through the work of the cross, and the separation of our soul and spirit. Heb.4:12

And no man has ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13

Paul stated how he walked, seeing above or beyond the earthly realm into the realm of Spirit. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the Gospel of His Son. Romans 1:9.

It is in this realm of Spirit that we find the Kingdom, it is above the earth in every way. This is our Home. Although we may physically be on this earth, we can live and have our being from and in a realm higher. This is what it means to be in Christ.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3

Awakening to Our Oneness

We are beginning to see, taste, and experience oneness in the Spirit. This is truly our Fathers desire, and the work of the Lord. It is here, ours for the taking, we can experience oneness in Christ today. In the ever present now, our Lord is beckoning us to come into Him, to partake of His life, and to see the ever deepening meaning of oneness, in Spirit and Truth.

“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.  God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23, 24

To worship our Father in spirit and truth, is to enter into His oneness. This is made possible in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the Way.

When you can see someone’s growth, joy, peace, wisdom, or fruit of the spirit, be it from a face to face conversation, or from other means, (second hand, or it being revealed from the Lord), you are experiencing oneness. This is very precious, and even contagious.

When you can deeply empathize with someone’s pain, loss, or sorrow in the spirit, and cover them in prayer, this too is oneness.

The exploration of oneness is something that is being heightened over and over, in  this we are truly exploring the Land of Promise, the heart and spirit of our Lord.

Oneness is seeing through the eyes of the heart, it’s allowing our Lord to reveal the beauty of who we are in him.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. ~ Ephesians 1: 18~21

Oneness is a deep stream, a treasure to explore, and gold to mine.

John the Revelator has some insight on this:

“What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life– and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us– what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.”  1 John 1: 1~4

“…do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength” ~ Nehemiah 8:10

The Eighth Day

The Eighth Day is a New Way

The Living Word is active; it separates the false from the true, provides discernment, and reveals the Lord. In this we find His ever beckoning call to “Come to Me”, to “Come up here”. His calling is always into Him, to embrace His Lordship, and to see life from a new and ever deepening perspective, His.

Isaiah 43: 18, 19 provides a key into this vision, a way to see the Lord.

Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.

“Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

We are by our nature creatures of habit, we learn from the very beginning that life is a process; we must learn to walk before we run, and we must learn the basics before we move into the more complex.

Yet here we see a new way being expressed, and this is vital in our walk in the Lord.

“Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.”

We are to embrace the Lord in a new way, He is doing something new, it defies the way we think naturally, “Now it will spring forth;” When something springs forth it happens in a way that is outside of our human based thinking, it comes forth in a new way, “Behold, I will do something new. We must seek Him with an open heart to behold this something New.

If we try to process this in our rational mind we will miss it, “Will you not be aware of it?” This can only be seen through the eyes of Spirit.

The Lord goes on to express what will happen, this is expressed in mystical language, yet it displays something that from our human perspective is unnatural, “I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

This can be seen as His life coming forward within us, clearing a road or a path for us inwardly so that His life comes forward, and also clearing a path outwardly for us to walk on through the days of our life here on earth.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:6.

The second expression of this newness of life the Lord is opening to us is expressed “Rivers in the desert.” This again is mystical language depicting Living Water flowing from parched earth.

In our embracing the cross we are emptied of our perspective, and learn to trust in the Lord with all our heart. He overcomes us as we submit to His Lordship; the principle of displacement takes place in our spirit. Our lives are transformed by His presence. This is symbolically depicted in the law given to Moses as Israel came out of Egypt. The Sabbath days are outlined in Leviticus 23; they too depict a spiritual sojourn from Passover to the Feast of Tabernacles. In these days we can find a process of moving forward in our relationship with the Lord. They open our eyes to see the Lord in each of them, and are building blocks in a way. What is very intriguing is in the Feast of Tabernacles, we find they are comprised of eight days.

The number eight has spiritual significance;

“As seven was so called because the seventh day was the day of completion and rest, so eight, as the eighth day, was over and above this perfect completion, and was indeed the first of a new series, as well as being the eighth.”

~ E.W. Bullinger ‘Number in Scripture’

Leviticus 23: 36

‘For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.”

Genesis 17: 12

He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised…”

The Feast of Tabernacles mentioned in Leviticus 23 is for seven days, culminated by the eighth Day, often called the Last Great Day. This Day points us to the moving from the process realm, into eighth Day, the realm of Spirit. In this realm we find everything is New, the old order is but a shadow of this realm, therefore we are warned not to use our old way of thinking in this New realm of Spirit. “Will you not be aware of it?”

This was exactly what the Lord was expressing in John’s account of the gospel;

John 7: 37~39

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him keep coming to Me, and let him keep drinking”

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'”

But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”

This is an open invitation to move from the process realm, into the realm of Spirit, in this realm life unfolds on a level far beyond what our physical senses can perceive. In this realm, we can be deeply engaged in the work of the cross, and at the same time the impartation of the life of Christ.

Paul addressed this in his letter to the church at Corinth.

1 Corinthians 2:

11  For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.

12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

13  which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

14  But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

15  But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one.

16  For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.

Paul also stated a key principle for us to abide in;

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

~ Philippians 2:5
